It seems today that all you see is violence in movies and sex on tv, but where are those good old-fashioned values on which we used to rely? Lucky there’s a family guy, lucky there’s a man who positively can do all the things that make us laugh and cry – he’s our family guy!
Here’s how it is: Earth got used up, so we terraformed a whole new galaxy of Earths, some rich and flush with the new technologies, some not so much. Central Planets, them was formed the Alliance, waged war to bring everyone under their rule; a few idiots tried to fight it, among them myself. I’m Malcolm Reynolds, captain of Serenity. Got a good crew: fighters, pilot, mechanic. We even picked up a preacher, and a bona fide companion. There’s a doctor, too, took his genius sister out of some Alliance camp, so they’re keeping a low profile. You got a job, we can do it, don’t much care what it is.
Look for the Union Label when you are buying a coat, dress, or blouse. Remember, somewhere our union’s sewing, our wages going to feed the kids, and run the house. We work hard, but who’s complaining. Thanks to the I.L.G. we’re paying our way. So always look for the Union Label. It means we’re able to make it in the U.S.A.!
Now, the world don’t move to the beat of just one drum, what might be right for you, may not be right for some. A man is born, he’s a man of means. Then along come two, they got nothing but their jeans. But they got, Diff’rent Strokes, it takes Diff’rent Strokes. It takes Diff’rent Strokes to move the world.
Sometimes the world looks perfect, nothing to rearrange. Sometimes you just, get a feeling like you need some kind of change. No matter what the odds are this time, nothing’s going to stand in my way. This flame in my heart, and a long lost friend gives every dark street a light at the end. Standing tall, on the wings of my dream. Rise and fall, on the wings of my dream. The rain and thunder, the wind and haze. I’m bound for better days. It’s my life and my dream, nothing’s going to stop me now.
